If you have lost one tooth and need a permanent, sturdy solution, a single tooth implant is ideal.

Dentists use titanium as this bonds well with the jawbone, securely incorporating the implant into the bone.

This will hold your single tooth implant firmly held in place so you don’t have to worry about it slipping out of position or coming loose.

A single tooth implant can be used anywhere in the mouth and colour-matched with your natural teeth.

Before you start dental implant treatment, we need to make sure your jawbone is of good enough quality and will hold the titanium screw. We may need to take X-Rays or refer you for a CT scan.

If you are suitable for an implant, we will take impressions of your teeth to create a prosthetic tooth of exactly the right size and shape.

The dentist will make an incision in your gum at the site of the gap and embed the titanium screw in your jawbone. You may need a stitch to ensure the wound heals properly.

The screw may take some time to become fully embedded in the jaw, so our dentist will fit a temporary false tooth to tide you over during the healing process. Once this is complete, we will attach your permanent replacement tooth.
